Malcolm Thompson Pumps - Continually Expanding
As part of our ongoing strategy of identifying opportunities that will enable us to expand the breadth and depth of products and services we are able offer to our customers, Malcolm Thompson Pumps has acquired several companies in recent years. These companies have all been incorporated into Malcolm Thompson Pumps and have greatly enhanced the range of products and services we are able to offer our customers. We are proud to be continuing the industry leading reputations of these well known companies.
The acquisition of Nossiter Pump Services in 2007, saw Malcolm Thompson Pumps’ operations in Sydney, NSW expand considerably. Since 1975 Nossiter had been a leading Sydney based pump company specialising in the supply, commission and servicing of pumping equipment and controls for fire protection and hydraulic services in high and low rise buildings. Malcolm Thompson Pumps is proud to continue to deliver the range of Nossiter products and services and the high level of personalised service that Nossiter was renowned for.
The acquisition of EPG Pumps in 2009 saw the formation of a diversified pump group with a comprehensive range of leading pump brands. EPG Pumps has had a long history in Australia, starting as Pacific Pumps in 1949 and being purchased by Engineered Products Group in 1996. Specialising in pumps for the mining, water and manufacturing industries, EPG Pumps distributed a range of specialist pump brands including Tsurumi, Weir Self Primer, EOne, CAT, Toyo and Edur. The addition of the EPG Pumps product range resulted in a significant expansion of Malcolm Thompson Pumps’ product range, ensuring we are able to meet a larger range of customer requirements.
