Malcolm Thompson Pumps is pleased to announce the arrival of the NEW Aquaplus Submersible Sewerage Pump range! The Aquaplus SSP Series, exclusively distributed by Malcolm Thompson Pumps, are hardworking reliable pumps available in Cutter Pumps, Grinder Pumps and Non-Clog Pumps. They are suitable for all tough and dirty applications requiring the pumping of liquid with solid contaminants including sewage pump stations, septic systems, wastewater treatment plants and restaurants.
The Aquaplus SSP Series pumps have undergone rigorous testing and are backed by a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase. The SSP Series is constructed from quality materials including cast iron abrasion resistant casing and cast iron impeller. All of the pumps in the SSP Series come standard with thermal overload protection so you can rely on the SSP Series for continuous operation.
The innovative triplex seal system comes standard on all pumps in the SSP Series and provides the highest level of motor and oil chamber protection from pumped materials for a longer pump life. The double sided mechanical seals with silicon carbide faces (both top and bottom) run in an oil filled chamber. The third seal isolates the motor from the sewage ensuring optimum performance and reduced down time.
The Grinder Pumps come with an integrated grinding mechanism performing 80,000 shredding actions per minute – ideal for sewage applications where liquids are contaminated with long stringy materials such as fabrics, plastics and rubber.
The Non-Clog Pumps and Cutter Pumps come with a dynamically balanced non-clog impeller. The Cutter Pumps additionally come with a tungsten carbide cutting tip and an emission cutting suction cover – ideal for grey water applications where water is contaminated by solids that need to be cut to prevent blockage during discharge.
