BER Series
Features
-
High oxygen transfer efficiency
A mixture of air and water is produced inside the diffuser under a pressurized state, and it is ejected from the unit by the strong water current. This results in extremely high oxygen transfer efficiency.
-
Large churning effect
The ejected water/air mixture is jetted in a single direction for a comparatively long range, enabling the generation of a large churning effect.
-
Flexibilities against changes in load condition
The required motor (shaft) power hardly changes even if the water depth fluctuates. The volume of air can be freely adjusted. The BER can be used in tanks in which water depth and degree of contamination changes.
-
OIL LIFTER (patent pending)
The OIL LIFTER stabilizes the function of the mechanical seal. It increases the life expectancy of the seal and extends the maintenance cycle. The OIL LIFTER is supplied on all aerators of 1.5kW and over.
-
Dual inside mechanical seal
The aerator is furnished with a dual inside mechanical seal located completely in an oil chamber. This seal system does not rely on the liquid for the lubrication and cooling, which increases the reliability of the sealing.
-
Anti-wicking cable entry
Every cabtyre cable has an anti-wicking block at the cable entry section. This unique feature protects the motor from the ingress of water that may be caused by damage to the sheath of the cable. Aerators up to 3.7kW have a rubber moulded cable entry, and the 5.5kW aerator has en epoxy-filled cable entry.
-
Motor protection device
A circle thermal protector (CTP) is installed in its motor. It automatically stops the motor in case of an excessive heat build-up in the motor caused by blockage of the impeller or by other overloading factors.
-
Guide rail fitting version
Guide rail fittings readily connect/disconnect the aerator to/from the piping system only by lifting up and down the aerator, allowing easy maintenance and inspection without the need to enter the tank.
Applications
- Aeration, pre-aeration, and/or mixing in sewage treatment plants
- Aeration, pre-aeration, and/or mixing in industrial treatment plants
- Mixing of liquid for the prevention of flotation or sedimentation
