Features

  • Cutter impeller
A sintered tungsten carbide alloy tip is brazed onto the impeller vane, and it rotates on the serrated part of the suction cover. Incoming fibrous matters are cut up by this mechanism, and this prevents clogging in the pump discharge pipes or valves.

  • OIL LIFTER(paten pending)
The OIL LIFTER stabilizes the function of the mechanical seal. It increases the life expectancy of the seal and extends the maintenance cycle. The OIL LIFTER is supplied in all pumps of 1.5kW or over.

  • Dual inside mechanical seal
The pump is furnished with a dual inside mechanical seal located completely in an oil chamber. This seal system does not rely on the pumped media for the lubrication and cooling, which increases the reliability of the sealing.

  • Anti-wicking cable entry
Every cabtyre cable has an anti-wicking block at the cable entry section of the pump. This unique feature protects the motor from the ingress of water that may be caused by damage to the sheath of the cable. Each pump up to 3.7kW has a rubber moulded cradle entry, and the pump of 5.5kW or.

  • Motor protection device
Every pump has a motor protection device built in its motor. A circle thermal protector (CTP) is supplied on the pump up to 7.5kW and miniature thermal protectors (MTPs) are supplied on the pump of 11kW and over. The CTP directly cuts the motor circuit in the event of excessive heat build up or an over current due to electrical or mechanical failure. MTPs are integrated in motor windings and will cut the motor circuit in the event of excessive heat.

  • Guide rail fitting version
Guide rail fittings readily connect/disconnect the pump to/from the piping system only by lifting up and down the pump, allowing easy maintenance and inspection without the need to enter the sump. Pumps in this version have a \"TOS\" identifier on top of their model codes.

  • Automatic / Auto Alternating Pumps
PU pumps come with an integral control circuit and two low voltage switches. Auto alternating pumps are used for dual automatic operations without the need of a control panel.

  • Special Options

    Galvanic Corrosion Protection

In sea water applications, Tsurumi can supply pumps with higher electrical potential sacrificial anodes so that these parts corrode before the pump material resulting in longer life span for the pump.

    High Temperature Liquid

Standard pumps are designed for continuous running at a maximum temperature of 40°C. Two high temperature operating models are available. Rank 60 for operation in liquids up to 60°C and Rank 90 for operation in liquids up to 90°C.

    Different Materials

Impellers, pump castings and suction covers can be made of stainless steel, chromium iron and bronze if required.

Applications

  • Drainage of wastewater at factories (textile, food, marine or air products, etc.)
  • Drainage of wastewater at hospitals, hotels, and restaurants, etc.
  • Transfer of sewage and wastewater at sewage treatment plants
  • Transfer of wastewater at industrial wastewater treatment plants
  • Domestic or community sewage lift station
  • Transfer of water and sewage with fibrous matters
