Features

The Harben Radial Piston Diaphragm pump is a unique design which offers many substantial advantages over conventional Piston / Plunger pumps including:

  • Able to run dry without damage.
  • Radial multi cylinder design allows the use of Harben’s unique JUMP JET attachment which dramatically increases sewer cleaning speed and doubles effective cleaning range to 200 m plus, by introducing a pulsating action down the line. By returning 25% of water flow back to the tanks this feature also reduces water consumption whilst in use.
  • Able to pump poor quality water such as seawater, recycled effluent, or raw water without damage.
  • Course inlet water filter screens down to 150 micron and needs far less regular cleaning than the 50 micron filter used with conventional Piston / Plunger pumps.
  • Direct coupled, flange mounted onto engine avoiding alignment and belt adjustment problems.
  • Diaphragm design isolates mechanical components from pumped fluid contributing to unrivalled reliability and continuous running ability.
  • Built in simple safety over pressure protection device.
  • Pistons run without seals in an oil-flooded crankcase.
  • Probably the Worlds widest ranges of accessories are available to get the most out of your unit.
  • All pumps can be driven by a variety of methods – PTO, Hydraulic, Belt Driven, Electric and Diesel Driven
