Twin Screw Pumps
Features
Available in both bare shaft and motor configurations.
The screw pump is based on Archimedes’ principle of pumping. In the patented JS Twin screw pump there are two screws rotating in opposite directions resulting in axial movement of the product. Use of external timing gear and support bearings avoids metal to metal contact between screws and lining.-
Screw pumps features non pulsating flow, resulting in smooth movement of product throughout the process. They are well suited for handling any non homogenous fluid (slurries, suspensions etc), regardless of viscosity, lubrication of wear properties.
-
Timing gear with bevel-cut gear wheels and spring loaded adjustment mechanism reduces noise emission.
-
A square standard inlet on the HD (Heavy duty) and LD (Light Duty) models makes it possible to position the pump in four different directions from the connected flange.
-
The Twin Screw pump is available with welded or cast lining, with options on materials. Heating or cooling jackets are also available.
-
Sealed, fat lubricated support bearings are standard in all JS Twin Screw Pumps
-
Flange outlet follows either the DIN2631-2635 standards, clamp union or customer specifications
-
Single pitch feed screws are standard. Double or triple pitch feed screws, feed screws with paddles/bridge breakers or custom design feed screws are available too.
