| Temperature
Limits of pumps with standard packed gland is from minus 10ºC to 105ºC.
The maximum temperature of pumps with a water cooled stuffing box is 160ºC. Water cooled stuffing boxes are a standard feature available with any Aquaplus pump unit. |
| Mechanical Seals |
| The
mechanical seals comply to VDMA International Dimension Standards and
the maximum temperature depends on seal selection.
The standard mechanical seal fitted is a single spring seal with a ceramic stationary face and a carbon rotating face with Buna N elastomer. The standard seal is suitable for temperatures up to 105ºC. Other seal components are AISI 304 stainless steel. Double mechanical seals and other seal configurations with SiC V’s SiC faces and or Viton elastomers are available on request. |

| The
maximum operating pressure is 1600kPa and the maximum pressure tested
is up to 2100kPa

| Speed Limits from 960rpm to 3600rpm |
| Maximum
speeds for direct coupled pumps vary between 960 rpm and 3600rpm, depending
on pump sizes and method of drive.
Speed limitations for vee belt is a different matter and all selections for VS drive units should refer to the technical manual for final selection. |
